Shop review: "Deep purple color with violet tints, complex plum, fig, strawberry, spices, and floral aromas; rounded and velvety tannins, excellent length with a distinguished character. Excellent when paired with game, roasted red meats, pasta, or pizza." -Vintage Cellar, 2014
My review: .Maipe Malbec poured a beautiful darker ruby red in the glass. Notes of spices, pepper, oak, meat, strawberries, and blackberries stood out on the nose. I tasted plum and blackberries on the tongue and the spices did not overwhelm the palate. The soft tannins and soft finish of this wine made it pleasant to drink.
Food: I did not pair this wine with food.
